So I'm looking for some advice on outfitters in CO for a 2022 Elk Hunt. Feel free to PM as well if needed.
We're looking for a backcountry experience where we have supplies dropped off away from people (within reason) and near elk, which is obviously everyone's desire for these sorts of things. Our primary desire would be to use the outfitters camp supplies like tent and whatnot but a drop camp with our own stuff isn't out of the question. We consider ourselves a fit group with Elk hunting experience in other states and look forward to a remote and successful experience.
Our priorities ranked are the following:
A hunt unit that could be drawn with 0 points or OTC
Proximity to good hunting ground holding elk
Away from other hunters, prefer to be deep into someplace
reputable and reliable outfitter
cost
Any experiences and or recommendations that folks may have on this type of experience would be greatly appreciated.
