Fresh Elk liver & onions for dinner last night

The daughter shot a cow yesterday morning and her stepdaughter shot a 5x5 bull. Not bad for a 14yr old. I went and helped them skin them out and we cooked fresh liver and onions for dinner last night. Sure tasted good. Also felt good to get my hands on an elk and blood on my hands. Can't wait, seems like Aug 30th will never get here.
