WTB Fraud Alert

If any of you have have WTB ads and get a “lead” to contact [email protected] it’s a fraud. He offered me a too good to be price on a pair of Nikon HGs. I told him I would pay the PayPal fees but he told me he would only take friends and family (no protection) Also had a different email address for PayPal and his English was bad. Wouldn’t give me his user name either. Beware

It’s just common practice by now if you post a WTB ad you’re going to get a few scammers. I told one guy to F Off and he reported me for offensive language

Funny, last time I started a thread to alert folks about a scammer it got taken down.

Agree, any response to a WTB should be given extra scrutiny. But, I recently placed a wtb and had 3 or 4 real responses so...
