FoxPro battery help please

I bought a FoxPro Hammerjack and the low battery light is on with fresh rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
I tried three different sets of Energizer rechargeable AA's, and then went and bought the non rechargeable and the low battery light is still on.
Any suggestions?

Contact Foxpro. Good people and great customer service.
My issues always seem to be related to cold with batteries. Now I use lithium.

Use lithium or powerful rechargeable, see if that makes a difference

I third the lithium.. cold weather= dead alkaline
