Hey friends. I've been poking around reading posts for a few months now, but as I've been seeing more and more posts I want to contribute to or questions that I would like to pose, it's been getting harder to keep quiet. I've enjoyed backpacking and very casual hunting for 7-8 years now, but only very recently came to the realization that I could combine the two into something greater than the sum of its parts. Since that realization I've begun the journey of preparing myself and my gear totes for future turkey, mule deer, and elk hunts beginning next year. I feel like it's given me a mission and a direction again for the first time since college, in a way that my other hobbies could not. As a fresh BHA and Rokslide member, I would like to say thank you for having me, and I hope that in time I can contribute at least as much to this forum as I have taken in so far.
