New to Rokslide and wanted to introduce myself. I am super excited to have found this resource. I am a fairly new hunter and started hunting well into adulthood, but I am hooked. Just completed a successful third rifle, Colorado Mule deer hunt. I did my own off season e-scouting, summer/fall boots on the ground scouting and did the hunt on my own. I'm sure that none of this is new to most of you, but I am super proud of this accomplishment. The hunt that I wanted was jeopardized because of the wildfires this fall, my unit was in national forest that was temporarily closed so my offseason work was almost for nothing. Fortunately, the forest was opened a few days after third season opened and I was able to get in. It's good to be involved in a forum like this because I think it will help my evolution as a hunter, I still have a long way to go and I certainly value advice and shared experience. Looking forward to next season!
