Good morning All,

Trying to get to 10 posts to experience this site a bit more in-depth.

Anyways, a SD native that grew up hunting before it was really the vogue thing to do. My old man took me hunting back in the days when we were lucky to even see deer in western SD. Now it is amazing to see the amount of deer on both sides of this beautiful state. As a South Dakota resident we get the chance at 4 bucks during deer season which feels like a great blessing in addition to the elk opportunities in the black hills region. Also, I have never experienced an area with more sharpies and pheasants than western SD, which is why I will always plug this state whenever possible.

I started on this site because I will be branching out to the western states this year and the coming ones. I will be elk hunting in western Montana this year as well as mule deer hunting in eastern Wyoming. I look forward to being introduced to many of the interesting topics, processes, and techniques for hunting, harvesting, butchering, and preserving the wild game all of us enjoy so much.

Good luck and only 31 days to Antelope Archery opener on the north plains of SD
