Hey guys! I've been a member on here for a couple months. But I've never introduced myself.
I live here in Utah County, Utah. I've been involved in the outdoors by hunting and fishing since I can remember. Deer and Elk hunting is my passion though.
I grew up hunting at our family cabin thats on 100 acres. I've shot a Muley every year except two years since I started deer hunting at the age of 14. Most of the bucks I've shot have been spikes, and two points. There isn't a lot of big deer where we hunt because of all the cabins surrounding our property. I mainly hunted our property because thats how my dad has always hunted and taught me to hunt that way. Its a usually an easy hunt as long as there are a couple bucks running around. We are first and for most meat hunters, then will fight over who gets to shoot the biggest two point
The last 6 years or so, i've been hunting off of that property and hitting the public land. I'm still first a meat hunter but I would like to be in areas that I can be a bit more picky about the size of animal I can take.
I'm here to get educated but also to give some advice on some things i've learned to those that are asking.
Thanks!
