FNG from Kansas

New guy living in KS, but from Jupiter, FL. Lived all over, but settled in KS 15 years ago. Love to hunt deer, turkey, pig, fish for everything, hike and camp.
This will be my 2nd year elk hunting. Went on my first elk hunt last year, self guided with my son in CO, and I'm hooked! We'll get at it again this year. Thanks!

What part of Kansas did you settle in? I’m outside of KC but go out west almost every year to hunt mulies with a bow. It always amazes me how farmers out there will laugh and say good luck when you ask permission to bow hunt on their land. Haven’t tried elk with my bow but it’s on my list. Good luck this year.

Wow, more KS hunters than I thought. I fo most of my hunting on public land in the NE part of the state. Furthest West I've hunted was Tuttle Creek.
