FNG from Idaho / CDA area

Hello all!

I'm new to the area, just moved from Pocatello. This upcoming deer season will be my 4th.

I like to lightweight backpack, hike, swim, kayak, bicycle and basically do almost anything outdoors. I spend a lot of time reading too.

Hoping to make some new friends here as either A: they don't hunt or B: they are not in the area.

Welcome to rokslide. Haven't spent any time over that way for awhile but at one time over by the hot springs had excellent bird hunting

Oh yes, I love it here beywawun! Maybe we can meet up and hunt one day in the future. I don't really know anyone here, but hunt about 3-4 days a week. My wife and I moved up from the East coast for job relocation. I don't think I'll ever live back east again! Pm me if you ever make it up this way. Josh

I'm in the cda area. I moved up here a year ago from reno and being a steel worker I thought everyone in the shop would be a hunter, guess again. I could use a partner for weekend whitetail in November.

Welcome. Ive been up here a little over a year also. I think you'll love it here. Tons of good hunting opportunities, just have to find "your spot"
