Does anyone treestand hunt in a cirrus? Just got some solitude bibs and don’t really want to drop another $250 on matching jacket so was thinking of running cirrus jacket with them? Leads me to ISO large fusion Klamath Woodbury north branch solitude.....

I have worn the cirrus while hunting whitetails. When I do I’ll put my hooded chama or klamath over it. It’s not silent, or even quiet, but treestand hunting would be difficult without something over the top.

In my experience it definitely works but isn’t a substitute for a dedicated jacket. You’ll compress the insulation a bit and lose some mobility if you’re a bow hunter.

If it was my only jacket it wouldn’t keep me from deer hunting, that’s for sure!
