Not looking for anyone's honey-hole...ha ha.

Probably visiting Telluride area in the next few weeks for family downtime. My wife wants to do some hiking if there's not too much snow. My son would tolerate that better if we could fold in a few hours of fishing. Anybody want to share a small lake or stream where we'd have some luck?

I don't care how big the fish are. "Quantity has a quality all its own."

I promise:

I have no plans to ever hunt that part of Colorado.

I won't blow up your fishing spot. I will probably never visit there again and I won't give it away to anyone.

I'm not sure exactly where we'll be but anywhere reasonably close would work.

DM me if you are willing.

Thanks.

Depending on your budget, it would totally be reasonable to consider hiring a guide for a day or 2.

Check out Priest Lake & Trout Lake or Alta Lakes. Also, Telluride Angler should be able to direct you to some fishable waters when you get in town.

Should be decent access to the San Miguel River from the road between Placerville & Telluride

You can stop into Telluride outsides shop and talk to them, big fly fisherman. They could probably give you some insight. we've bought our otc elk tags there before and are good folks.
