I mainly do walking fishing and jungle activities
Mainly frame + waterproof backpack
Carrying weight 10-18KG
I have used three frameworks in total
1. Kifaru Hunting Framework
2. Kifaru Duplex Lite Frame
3. Seekoutside Revolution Suspension Frame

I use Kifaru for about 6-7 years
I love this brand so I rarely watch other brands
Lightweighting started last year
Knowing Seekoutside I feel the design is very special
When I ask them weird questions, I always get a response

Kifaru Advantages
1. When the weight reaches more than 15KG, the effect is very good
Can share the weight on the waist
2. Comfortable waist pad, very comfortable
3. Sturdy and durable
4. The back shape can be replaced
shortcoming
1. Stiff Frame
When crouching to crawl or dodge obstacles
The stiffness of the pack can make it difficult for you to move
2. Extra webbing
Kifaru is mainly designed for hunting use
Therefore, a long webbing is reserved for fixing operations.
Extra weight for non-hunting personnel
3. The shape of the shoulders and waist does not conform to the Asian figure

Seekoutside Advantages
1. Double fixed waist belt for a perfect fit to the waist shape
2. Adjustable shoulder straps, suitable for all kinds of shoulders
3. Short and effective webbing, saving weight
4. The belt is more flexible when changing posture
Won't be towed by the backpack
5. Special fabric, quiet and wear-resistant
shortcoming
1. The back is sultry
2. It is more complicated to adjust the shoulder straps
3. The frame shape cannot be changed
4. Fewer options for accessories

I think Seekoutside is great for non-hunters
Lightweight + Perfect Frame
Kifaru for heavy weights + multi-variable combinations
Most of my team friends use the Kuiu framework
Lighter, but not made in the USA
Both Seekoutside and Kifaru are made in the USA
Great service, I think I'll keep using them

Hill,

A couple things to think about if our framed packs are too heavy, the Kutthroat and Minikeg packs were made specifically for backcountry fishing at high alpine lakes. They use our duplex shoulder straps and waist belt but ditch the frame and are made with Xpac and 500d cordura. I've done 4 days (more if the fish cooperate) out of the Kutthroat, and switch between a Bane or Claymore for a lid, depends if I need a fishing/hiking pack. Minikeg is a shorter bag (2-3 days) so it works well through more confined trails and even for flying (TSA compliant and can run beltless, detach the claymore lid to bring to your seat and stow the keg overhead). Our shoulder straps are independent as well so you can adjust them based on each shoulder instead of both at the same time, particularly useful for archers with asymmetrical shoulders. Shoot me an email if you have any questions on our gear.
