First trad kill

Opening day in Ohio and I bagged my first Trad kill. Nothing crazy, but I knew I was going to take the first deer I saw. More importantly I was able to share it with my the man who got me started hunting. Good luck to everyone out there

O absolutely. I think the best part is seeing all the practice pay off. I don't know if I can ever go back to a compound again let alone a rifle

I had to work at 1400 so I just wanted to get a quick sit in. I was out there for just over an hour and that deer came in. Maybe a 15 yard slightly quartering away shot. Drilled the shot, and was able to watch the deer drop within 15 yards.

Congrats brother! I got my first 2 trad kills this year as well. It’s addicting! Won’t ever go back to a compound!
