This is the best advice. Burn that boot leather and put your glass to work. I took this buck last season in one of the units listed in your first post. Have reasonable expectations and you’ll have a great time. View attachment 181330

This is a mature good buck for Central Idaho wilderness and a taker for most guys that don’t have a ton of time or a serious honey hole.

Thanks man, couldn’t have done it without the help! Bummed I won’t make it back up to Idaho this year.

You will be surprised at how much info you can glean by using very dynamic searching on this forum. Even if the info on the unit is 6 or 7 years old, I have been very surprised at just how much info is divulged on here that will point you in the right direction.
