Thinking about selling off my Under Armour Gore-Tex rain jacket for the First Lite.
The UA is a very solid jacket but it's too heavy to throw in the pack when it "might" rain.
But when the weather is bad it's great.

With the FL hows the durability for wearing it a lot like later in the year for snow and wind protection?

Thanks

That jacket just came out this year, so no long term info on it. What I can say is that I did about 4 hours of hiking in steady rain with it a few weeks ago, roughly 7 miles and was very impressed at breathability while remaining watertight. It is also a bit quieter than some of the other rain gear I have used, with sort of a brushed finish on the fabric. Just of first impressions I'm not going to hesitate to pack it on my hunts this season.

I love mine!! Just had my stuff arrive last week only worn it in a light rain storm but I'm gonna go on a limb and say it's the best jacket I have ever owned so far.

The Vapor looks pretty sweet for the "maybe" rain. I'm currently running a Marmot Stormwatch (basically a precip with some welded zippers). I think I paid $80. The Vapor is on my upgrade list for next season though.

Can't go wrong with a good ole precip. Still have mine.
