The only bad thing about this jacket is spelling the name of it correct!

Ha!! I just call it the FL puffy sense they only have one. And honestly I couldn't tell you how it is suppose to be pronounced.

Yep,...nice review Aron, had mine about a month now and have been wearing it everywhere! shook off a couple of good showers too. I particularly like the sleeves, nice and fitted on the forearms, great for shooting my Bow.
6oz heavier than my other synthetic puffy but I would probably still pack it due to its hood and versatility.

I washed blood off the outside just throwing it in with a normal load of laundry, with Tide....... Then I got blood on it again, on the inside, and haven't washed it since. Might be a bit tougher to get those out.

I've got this one in ASAT along with the North Branch pants and the Stormtight jacket. Makes for a pretty bomber set-up

So for you folks with this jacket, what size did you end up with and how tall/lbs are you? I'm 6'1" 175 and had a large but it was way too roomy/bulky for me.

5' 11" at 170 and the medium fits me perfect.

I have this jacket and would agree, if I'm going deep I'm taking the down puffy instead. I thought about trying to make this work as a combo puffy/rain jacket........which would work fine for most situations, but I wouldn't trust it for all the rain we experienced here last year. Mine is an XL and weighs 19oz. My down puffy and Stormtight weigh ~29oz combined, so for the extra 10oz I think it's worth taking the down and rain jacket together. But as Aron states......for busting brush you want the FL puffy. I'm 6'6"/210 and the XL fits well.

At 5'10" and 185ish, the large size FL puffy is a bit big on me also, as is the rain jacket they offer. I was originally going to send them back to get a size smaller, but being able to wear my HPG recon kit bag underneath both when the weather gets really nasty is a bonus, so I kept the large and just deal with it. I usually run a fleece under my rain jacket anyway so it works itself out in the end. Regardless, it's a great piece of kit to have in your pack.

I've been wearing this jacket about everyday for the last 3+ months. I wore this under my Fanatic while bow and muzzleloader hunting and it helped a ton. Just did a 3D shoot last weekend and the collar got in the way a little, but I ended up tucking it in and was good to go. I also don't like the white inside the "brim" area of the hood and that is my only complaint. Otherwise it's golden. I love the sleeves and especially the cuffs. This is my go to everyday coat.

I'm 5' 11" x 175lbs. and the medium is perfect.
