This is there new synthetic pant much like KUIU and put them in my hands at the Colorado Sheep and Goat hunters Orientation this year. Have any of you actually put them on and tried them out yet? Wondering about the fit and feel? I like almost all of the stuff they sell but not a fan of the merino wool pants they sell as they make me itch when warm and I do not like cargo pockets on top of my leg rather than the side.

I hiked a 60 mile thru hike in mine the first time I used them. They are great, though a bit warm for hiking in 75 degrees for this guy. Was in the alpine so no brush for the 12 miles we hiked that day and only my wife around so I hiked in the Red Desert boxers....but I will spare you the pics. :)

That said I think they will be great for most of my hunting...nearly the same weight and warmth to me atleast as the Kuiu attacks.

My buddy has them and wore them while we were on a 4 day scouting trip last week. He liked the 4 way stretch but didn't like the fit.
One thing I can say about them is that they are very loud. Every step he took it sounded like he was wearing rain gear, swish-swish-swish
Probably good for rifle but spot and stalk archery I wouldn't wear them.

I don't hear the noise, I will be bowhunting in mine. Slim, where his pants brand new?

I just did a 25 mile scouting trip with them. I really like them. They have slim fit around the bottom but they slip over my boot nicely. They will be on most of hunts this year including some archery hunts.

Ya that was his first time wearing them.
I noticed right away when we started hiking.
I wish that they weren't that loud cause I wanted to order a pair.
I washed mine before hiking and I never even noticed the sound.

People think I'm crazy, but the Core4 Switchback pants were the exact same way.....swish, swish, swish. Almost like they were made out of plastic.

I was basically on the way to mailing a pair back because they are way too loud for my use, if they would quiet down after some washings I would keep them though, any input?

If they are noisy then it's an easy pass.... Last thing I need is a busted stalk because of noisy pants

I only have one hike on mine and they are bit on the noisy side but I think they will quiet down with a couple trips thru the washer.

I like the cut and stretch of these alot - only minor complaint is they are pretty skinny at the boots but still fit over them so no big deal.

I use to think my Kuiu NX pants were quite but my hunting partners always complained about the swish swish. I could hear them, they could hear me, but it's hard to hear your own noise. Sounds weird but I believe it after last season. Bummed to hear this about these pants.

Man, my other hunting pants I use must be REALLY loud as I thought they corrugate pants were pretty quiet.

I thought they were about the same as my Kuiu Attacks and certainly quieter then my tried and true el cheapo Columbia Arubas ;)

My test is to rub the material against some brushy plants, then swing a branch of that against the material. If it has any kind of swish or thwack sound to it, they're a no go. Another good test for shirts or jackets is to shoot the bow and intentionally get the material between the string and string stopper. Fleece is silent. Rain gear is not (sounds like a .22 going off). Most everything else is in between. I always bring an arm guard in my pack for when I throw on the rain jacket.

They are not fleece, so if that's what your looking for they will not be up to snuff. They sound exactly like my attacks when I first got them. Not sure if I'll run mine or not for hunting.

Luke we have all seen your skinny jean thighs. I've got a little more "meat" down there so they tend to rub together.

In all seriousness I agree, if they quite down like the attacks do they will be fine.

I've actually not had an issue with noise. I did wash them prior to first use and have several times since. My reaction was "wow, they're quieter than I expected.

Very comfortable and light, kind of forget they are even there.

I agree on this

Once washed they quiet right down. My Kuhl Renegades are much louder and I have taken two bulls with my stickbow while wearing them. Hell last year I called in a 5x6, missed him then killed a spike two minutes later while wearing my FL puffy:)
