Finally my first custom was born

After a long awaited 9 months my wife and I have our first born semi custom rifle.
remington 700 action, 3b bartline barrel 26 inches. Iota stock, Holland break and trigger tech primary trigger. Chambered in 6.5 Sherman short mag. Got it zeroed with the fire forming load and low and behold 4 hours later a coyote presented him self at 740 yards. I sent the 140 eldm and watched the bullet impact in front of the hind quarter behind the last rib and he dropped. This rifle and I are off to a great start.

Me too! Thanks so much! i will say building is addicting. Im building another on a tikka action but in 6mm sst, and a 338 edge. I told my step dad that this was his grandchild he was getting from my wife and i. He asked if it would come visit it him i said of course but it goes home with me just like he likes LOL

What groups are you achieving? How challenging was load development? I am knocking on the door of ordering either a 3B steel Bartlein or one of their new CF barrels.
