My Block is long past dead. I'd like to get maybe a large bag target for the yard. Something with enough surface area for the whoopses.

I'd also like a 3D buck target for the yard. How's the Glen Dale buck?

Then how are the new Blocks or Reinhardts? I need something for the road. I can get a deal on the Reinhardts but I've heard mixed reviews about them.

Thanks

Let me say up front I'm a sucker for archery targets. I have four adult daughter that usually buy me a target for birthday and/or Christmas

Big bag target, commercial: Morrell Supreme II Field point target. Last forever if your dog doesn't chew it up.
Big bag, econo: large burlag coffee bag lined with heavy trash bag and stuffed with plastic grocery bags. Shaped like deer body, simple arrow pull, CHEAP.

3D deer: I would get a Rinehart Broadhead buck Blem from Big Jim archery. Smallish deer but lasts and is easy pull. Replaceable vitals. I've got a couple that stay out on my course year round and are doing fine. There is a cheaper Rinehart doe target and I have one. They just don't seem to show up as blems as often and some don't have replaceable vitals. (They are fixable though with spray foam insulation)

Rinehart woodland block: rugged target, kind of heavy and can be tough to pull arrows. I would stick with the 18-1 or a Field ball. You can find those in blems/cheaper too if you are patient.

Can't help you with Glen Dale buck.

i just picked up a cheaper bag target. think its a delta mckenzie speed bag. like 45$, about 3ft x3ft. so far so good. (200ish shots with lower lb recurve)

Add to bag targets: if you are going to hang a bag target be sure to check how the grommet is placed on the bag. A lot of times that is the weakest feature on the bag especially if it's a heavy bag. If it's just a brass grommet through one layer of material it isn't going to last. I hang mine from a t-post and try to reinforce potential weak spots with gorilla brand duct tape. If bag is sitting on the ground then no worries except the bottom could rot if it gets wet.

I would definitely recommend a Rinehart target. Good price for the durability and quality. As mentioned above, Big Jim has blems from time to time. I think you can even order them via Amazon Prime. Save you some money on shipping.
