Curious to learn more about these as well, especially after Form's mention. There's also a new LR bullet coming out from Speer that I saw at the Hunt Expo--sounded (as they all do) interesting.

Have they even released BCs for these yet?

Edit: found them listed. 0.625 for 130 grain 6.5 sounds optimistic but if they are anywhere close these might be a great option. 200 Gr .308 also claims .625.

Yeah, if you look at the loaded ammunition you can find the claimed bc's.
.536 on the 30 cal 175 grain.

Speer may add yet another option.A good thing.

To new to get worked up yet. Apparently making a long range bonded bullet is not all that easy. I'll be interested to see how these do but it'll take a couple full seasons for real world results to come back. Generally, after all the hype settles, new offerings are not the death rays they're marketed to be.

I was comparing these 30 caliber offerings last night with a friend of mine.

Nosler Long Range Accubond
168 grain-bc of .525
199 grain-bc of .597

Barnes LRX
175 grain-bc of .508
190 grain-bc of .541
200 grain-bc of .546

Federal
175 grain TLR-bc of .536
200 grain TLR-bc of .625

We will see how they fly.

Not starting off very well just by looking at them.

Not at all unusual for some bullet makers to completely fib about the bc's for a couple years, only to be caught red handed by, well, everyone, and have to re-publish the truth attached to a lame excuse (Nosler). All those bc's listed are terrific and a vast improvement from the old days. These are the golden years of projectiles. IMO, there are so many good ones that a guy should be looking close at terminal performance first and bc's second.

I've been waiting on these to come back in stock for 8-9 months. Talked to Federal several times and each time told within the next few weeks they will be shipping.

I called federal about a year ago and they told me the same thing. i waited a couple months then ordered some hammer bullets. When I called Hammer Steve, the owner answered the phone and answered all my questions. I really like the Hammer's supper easy load development.

thanks , wow to me this kind of illustrates how weight can add quite a bit to ballistic coefficient since it looks pretty similar to the 200 eldx and claims almost a point lower in b.c.
