Welcome! Personally, I'd find a nice used pre-lock 686. It won't fit your weight requirement, about 30oz if I recall correctly. The Ruger GP100 is a tank and a solid shooter but not as refined. Unfortunately also over the 25oz. If open to used there are several snubbys produced by S&W years ago that may fit your requirements. Tough to find and spendy so be patient and save up. Happy shopping!
At that weight you might be limited to a J-frame size. Unless you can find something larger in an alloy. Im not aware of any S&W K-frames in allow, buy there are so many variations over the years.
A J-frame like a Model 60 is a sweet little shooter. Good if you want to carry, but only 5 rnds. Pretty jumpy with full load 357s.
Bump up to a model 66 to get 6 rnds but youre way over your weight limit. The model 19 is the one I would pick of the current S&W offerings.
LCRx is light, but only 5 rnds. Probably not the best trigger (the 22 i have is heavy!).
Come to think of it, Im not aware of a 6 shooter that comes in under 25oz.
If 357 is not necessary then s&w airlite with laser grip and Buffalo bore swc hard cast +p for critters. At 12 oz it’s a dream and I carry it when not in grizzly country, swap Ammo out for civilian carry.
I want to say the ruger small light snubby does have a 5 shot model rated for 357…. ruger is lighter then above.
