Fall Idaho Bear reduced tag units

Heading out for first diy bear hunt in Central-ish idaho was the plan. Out of the reduced cost tag units, any advise on best unit to hunt? Planning to go in September. Thanks for any advise!

I would focus on creek and river bottoms mostly
Look for berries and lots of bear sign

My son and I saw one driving down Highway 12 on the river last year heading down south to go antelope hunting.
