Fall bear

Getting ready to head out for my first rifle fall bear hunt in MT, looking at concentrating in the Swan Range, ( not going to post actual units and land marks ive been e scouting / researching unless it’s in a PM), any tips, advice, what are the berries like this year, etc? Definitely willing to chat more in PM’s. From what I’ve researched it seems pretty grizz heavy and hoping that doesn’t effect black bear populations. I’ll take any advice anyone is willing to give.

I wouldn't even worry about grizs and blackies, ive seen quite a few in griz country.

Find where archers are dropping elk, hunt the carcasses
