Long time lurker, Just wanted to share some results from shooing Hornady EDL X ( allegedly match grade ammo ). Wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this.

.300 win mag 200 grain, 100 yard groups quite literally all over the map!

Gun does shoot federal moa groups.

Yes. FWIW, ELD's of any kind don't like me, and I gave up on them. This is across several precision rifles.

Where in the shooting sequence were the four in the middle?
Good question.

Shot number one was on the money.

Next 2 shots way off

Then 3 ringers damn near on the bullseye.

After that I’m just wasting bullets.

Then gun was previously zeroed for 200 yards

We are shooting under .5 MOA with them in our 6.5 PRC. My guess is you have something else going on but some guns don't like some ammo for a variety of reasons.

Have you seen variance this extreme?

Really wonder if the velocity’s are that much different from round to round or what

212 Grain ELD-x shot sub-MOA on my first attempt with it in my new .300 PRC. Then surprisingly the ELD-M didn’t shoot well at all. Never know what your rifle will prefer

Yes I have seen them "group" like that at 100 yards. If your not using a chrono, I can't really help with narrowing down the issue. I'd start there.
I reload a lot-I just moved on from them. Not worth the time, headache, and wasting valuable components.

I’m curious, is this a 100 yard group?

And what is your rifle, scope, etc.? Shooting off a bench, bipod, rear bags?
