Even if you have land you still have to apply for tags? I have never hunted or applied out west so not exactly sure how the system works.

Naw, that was the water restrictions and drought for the past many years. His damage is with all the trees and shrubs. They rub the bark off my saplings and kill them, or just destroy the trees altogether when rutting. They even eat the peaches off the tree.

Yes still need to draw a tag for the unit your property is in unless you have enough land to get landowner tags. Unfortunately I dont meet those requirements.

Opening day of archery season in 2008, all laying in my neighbor's yard. My deer fence used to keep them out of my yard, until a late May snow that dropped branches on 90% of it a few years ago. I didn't feel like redoing it. But I should.
