But if you can rent a boat check out Pig island ( everyone down there knows where it is) or Compass kay- a tiny bar there ( swim with 10’ nurse sharks, he can call them in)
Staniel Kay has a seedy little bar that has a very high concentration of billionaires- and you will know it by the yachts parked there- an interesting place.
We found the fishing only soso pretty shallow….maybe it was the time of year.
GF & I went several years ago so I'm sure a lot has changed but back then there was practically nothing to do. Which was one of the reasons we liked it TBH. We actually had some stuff lined up (fishing, diving, etc. but none of them panned out. Some never responded or cancelled. Not unlike other places in the Caribbean most folks are on their own schedule & have a DGAF attitude. We just winged it & did some exploring on our own, almost like going back in time when you were a kid & made your own entertainment. We found a random guy at the marina with a boat & paid him to take us around those little islands for a few hours. It kinda felt like we were the only people on the planet. Good times!
