Just added more pieces to the puzzle... Going on my first backcountry elk hunt this season and I hope I can put it in the boiler maker...

They make a great BH. I've never hunted with it, but have shot my friends Exodus for accuracy and was impressed with it's flight. Best of luck on your elk hunt!

Do you hunt Idaho with them? Someone told me the other day both the Swept and Full models are ILLEGAL in Idaho. I'd really like to know if they are legal or not because I'm thinking about using them.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to hunt ID with them! I used the full models in WA though. I don't see why the full models wouldn't be allowed in ID???

The rules say it is unlawful to kill big game animals: "With an arrow or bolt wherein the broadhead does not precede shaft and nock".

And supposedly, because the blades even on the full model exceed beyond the end of the shaft, they therefore violate that law....

Which I don't know about all that, How does something that screws into the front of the arrow not "precede shaft and nock" ??
