I've seen a few posts in the past but can't seem to find them..

I really want to run a small bag on my frame.. Nothing fancy.. Maybe 1500-2500 for some real light day hunting.. Something bare bones to hold water, snack, knife, and a flash light..

Anyone recommend anything? Would like to keep it around $100 if possible

I use the Hill people gear Highlander as a smaller bag. about 2000 ci. front zip on the Exo Frame. Probably lots of options out there.

Really don't have any recommendations for you but rumor has it they may be coming out with a smaller bag.

God Bless.

Get the HPG Load sling to help carry a load between frame and bag.

Never packed meat with this but it has all the right ingredients.

That looks perfect!

A little more than I wanted to spend but I'd rather spend a little more than get a Kuiu

Thanks!

What about using the beavertail with a 20-30L dry bag? Just have your bladder attached to the frame then sandwich the dry bag against it.

I haven't personally done it this way but have thought about it. Nice light weight option.

HPG is absolutely top of the line products. Could not recommend them enough. You will not be disappointed!!! Take a look at the Highlander and the Tarahumara. Two good choices.
