I don't see any sizing on the belt but he isn't a small guy so I am assuming it's not a small.

You can find the size where the belt meets the lumbar pad. It's a small tab with a letter on it. Look under the lumbar. Worse case call Steve at Exo he can tell you where to find the size. The right belt fit means everything with heavy loads. Just my two cents.
