Engraving help

So I bought a set of Knives of Alaska fillet knives for my stepdad, who spent a week helping me work on my house so we could sell it. I am planning on getting them engraved to make them more personal. I have never been good at coming up with things to say so I am stuck!! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've done this with 2 kitchen knives for my dad. Id recommend keeping it short and sweet but meaningful, just the fact that its engraved will probably mean a lot whenever he looks at it. Ask your wife to help, thats what i did lol

When ever the wife gets me something, she always has it engraved with Mr. and our last name. I love it. Makes it mine.
