For me, the mini taggedout is the best EDC knife BM has ever made. I have most of the ones discussed here, or have owned them. Has the best blade profile for hunting/edc knife with more belly than the bugout or grip.
This is the mini taggedout compared to the regulard size bugout (mini taggedout top and bottom, regular size bugout middle). They are very, very close to the same size. The handle on the mini taggedout feels more secure in your hand, the cutting edge is nearly identical and like mentioned before, I prefer the belly on the mini taggedout. The mini taggedout is more in line with the regular size BMs, not mini like the mini bugout. The full size taggedout is too much knife for edc.
The clip point and the way the handle is shaped, just give you a better angle to cut as well. The bugout is mostly straight from the spine to the drop point. I dont have a mini freek anymore, but that is one I regret selling and would probably be 2nd behind the mini taggedout.
Hogue Deka added for size reference. Id take it over the bugout as well. Toss up between the deka and mini taggedout.
