Anyone packing moose with the f1? Looking into buying a pack for a fall diy hunt

Its boxed up to be more specific. I don't like the waist belt. It has a traditional rear pull and it doesn't tighten up well for me. I also don't like how the shelf protrudes out the back and its quite narrow overall. Its just not my jam.

Spend the extra hundred dollars and get a Barney’s frame. It’s really the only way to roll for packing moose.

Which Barney pack would you suggest?

Sort of depends. For hauling moose, I think just their frame is the best choice. If you are going to use it for backpacking, they only make 3 different bags for the frame and they all seem fairly similar other than pocket configuration.
