Easy diaphragm calls

Hi guys,
I've never had great luck with mouth calls, never seem to fit well and can only get mediocre sounds. Any recommendations for easy to use diaphragm calls.

I'm fairly new to mouth calls as well. I just about gagged the first times I put them in my mouth. I have a narrow face/jaw and cut mine so they fit a lot better in the roof of my mouth. Once I got a good fit I used that as a template to trim my other calls. You'll likely find that some triple reeds take more air than doubles....and different cuts tend to give raspy vs different pitched calls. I would suggest trying a few to see what works best. Youtube has a bunch of videos that helped me a bunch. It certainly is a challenge learning all the different calls and learning how to call quiet vs loud!
