It seems like the bears have gotten off to an early start in several states this year.

I saw that today. Near a landfill caught my attention. Reminded me of the trash dump photos and videos from Yellowstone Park in the 20's through the late 60's where they had hundreds of habituated bears of both kinds. People would take photos with them and pet them. Of course, there was the occasional grumpy bear too and the trash dumps went away eventually. Bears biting the clientele is bad for business.
