Early season boots

Looking for recommendations on an early season hot weather boot, for chasing mule deer and antelope in August and September. I would like them to be waterproof for morning dew and creek crossings. Thanks!

I wear crispi lapponia in that situation

Scarpa Mescalito. I used them all spring shed hunting, post holing through snow. Really waterproof for what they are, and just over 2lbs a pair.

Thinking about getting the crispi colorado but they do look a little heavy..
