Early October hunt expectations

I have a tag that runs early next month. I’ve deer hunted the area a little bit and have some intel from different seasons in past years, but never hunted this timeframe.

I can grind through a hunt, but I was hoping to set expectations a little bit. Is the rut shaping up this year? If I find some bulls next weekend during archery season, what are the odds they’ll be in the general area?

Anything you find now should be in the same general area in 3 weeks and the bugling could be super intense that week or at least enough to get in on them.
