Anybody running a Dyneema jacket or rain shell or puffy? I'm familiar with the fiber in my shelters and stuff sacks. Wondering about trying a DCF puffy as static insulation given it doesn't breath. I know it's loud too. Looking for real world hunting experience. Thanks!

I will be interested to see if there is any real world hunting experience. I can think of a few issues, but as I have not used it I'll stay quite.

Thought about it, but it is just too noisy. And a puffy needs to breathe a bit, even if static IMO, as there could get condensation buildup on the wall of the fabric on the inside unless it was completely sealed in at low humidity to begin with... Plus fabrics like Membrane7 are nearly just as light as .5oz Dyneema, and designed to breath for puffys, quilts etc.

Too noisy, expensive and punctures easily. Silnylon/Silpoly would be nearly as light, much more comfortable.
