Dyeing/Painting X-PAC?

I'm looking to purchase an ultralight frameless day pack, and the model I'm looking at only comes in white or black x-pac. I was wondering about the feasibility of painting or dyeing the white model, to make it a more neutral tan or green.

Dupli-Color makes a flat spray paint that would work for vinyl and fabric. Would that work on x-pac? If so, I could stencil out a camo pattern.

I can also just settle with solid black, but I don't think it blends into surroundings as well as neutral colors...

Is it still a nylon fabric?

I think dye will not work well. Could certainly paint it. Me personally i would buy the black one and not worry about it. Or find another pack i like in a color scheme that better suits my needs.

Here is a post of someone who successfully dyed a dyneema pack using rit dye at a high temperature.

My concern is that the dye/temp would damage the lamination of the fabric.
