Double Bull SurroundView hunting blind with exclusive one-way see through-walls...anyone use this? Is it waterproof? Suitable for AZ's monsoon season hunts? Does it have shoot-thru mesh for us archers?

You'd think you can shoot through it, but it comes with ports to shoot out of and the one side has the bigger opening like older double bulls. So, I'd say if you can get the mesh tight enough it wouldn't be much of an issue. I'd just shoot through the ports.

Used one in Texas hunting javelina. Shot through ports. The roof was solid so rain wouldn't be a huge deal. I liked it overall but wouldn't spend that much on a blind. It let more light in which I didn't really like.

My option is an ultralite, home made ground blind I crafted outta shoot-thru mesh. But I'd hafta wear rain gear.

Love mine with my 7 year old. He can see out without dancing around. Pretty remarkable.

Problems. 1. Scent for deer season. Wasn’t an issue for Turkey. 2. Rain. You will get wet if it rains. It’s mesh. Yes the top is solid, but water gets in for sure.

I have no field experience with one, but did sit in one at a local Scheel's store. In my opinion it would lack one of the major advantages of traditional blinds...protection from the elements. Around here that is early season rain, or bitter cold below zero late season temps paired with howling winds. For where I hunt it would not be high on my priority list. Like I said, this is based on an in-store 5 minute "sit," so I could be wrong.

I like the blind. It’s well made and the vision is great. It not waterproof but if you knock off the water you will stay dry. The carry bag is terrible but overall it’s good.
