Dolica Proline ZX600B103 carbon fiber tripod with Vanguard PH 111 V panhead. Also two QD plates. $80TYD.
Google exact specs but I measure 57.5 inches fully extended to the top of the center column.
60 & 3/8 to the top of the panhead.
Most comparisons are based on my Slik Sprint Pro II and my Sirui T-024SK.
However, I spent an hour in the store looking at a 5.75 lb Slik 700 something yesterday. For it’s weight, this tripod compared well for stability.
This is a solid tripod. The lock for the center column is more robust than my Slik and way more solid than my Sirui. The leg angle adjustments are more user friendly than my Slik, but not as good as Siriu.
Stability at full extension is great.
Tripod condition-fully serviceable. Wear marks but no significant damage. All leg locks function well. No cracks. It’s never tumbled down the mountain. Some scuffs, a small gouge in one of the rubber leg lock grips, small cut in the foam. Minor stuff.
Panhead condition-Works fine for 15x56 binos, spotter. The tilt lock is not working 100%, meaning it will shift when pressure is applied. However it holds the optics mentioned above fine. My best swag is it takes 10+ lbs of pressure to shift it when locked. It should be fine with any man-portable optics.
Originally came with a pretty decent ball head, which I intend to keep. I think that is why the spec shows max height of 60 inches.
Will ship with a padded carry bag for storage or travel.
