I had this on a 700 BDL chambered in 7mm Rem mag. Decided to go another direction with the scope setup though. Rings have been lapped, and as you can see, contrary to what DNZ tells you, they do need it. Id guess they've seen about 40 rounds and 1 day in the field hunting.
