Looking to build a nice size practice target backstop that won’t damage my arrows. Need to sight in bow and can’t risk flinging arrows all over just to find my 60 yd pin to line up for spot Hogg slider

I use a large bale of carpet remnants. Can't shoot broadheads and you won't be moving it much but they last forever.

+1 for a stall mat. You’ll need something stout to hang it from and it’s a pain to get arrows out of it, but it will stop your errant arrows cold and will last forever.

I used a 3x4’ horse stall mat and some 1/2” pipe from Menards and hung it with zip ties. All in I was l like $100 in but feel better about not losing an arrow or 2. Should last forever as well

Echo the horse stall mat from tractor supply. Even stops broadhead tipped arrows for pre-season tuning. It will catch the shaft and you just unscrew the head and pull out the arrow shaft

I recommend building a 2x4 or pipe frame on wheels to tow it around, because it’s very awkward to move around without

This is my version 2.0 of a target backstop. The black rubber is horse stall mat, and I also used it on the platform the target sits on (just because I had the extra). These photos are from when I first built it last year. It's survived the winter great, and I've added an ABS tube to the side to store my arrows when I pull them out.
