Disappointed.....

I was just loading my gear for next week and grabbed my pair of wild rocks plus boots. I noticed a hole in the leather where the laces touch the tongue....no big deal, I glued a piece of leather to it and rock on.....except when I looked at the other side, the stitching in the tongue is blown out. Grr.

I'm out of warranty or I'd send these back as they only have about 15 days in the field but that's over a couple of years.

Good thing the scarpas and lowas didn't fall apart. The leather on my scarpa tongues is heavier than the leather on the vamp of my crispis.

Here's what I'm butt hurt about. Both the right AND left boots failed WAAAAY too soon.

I’d hit them up, I’ve read/heard of a few quality custom service interactions.

But yes, looks like you kept them cleaned and conditioned.

I use to have a lot of issues with Danner stitching failing there, but we attributed it to leaving mud on our work boots.
