If you have a Dillard's department store, they have merino wool sweaters on super clearance for $9.99. Wear as base layer or mid layer. Or buy a size too big and shrink it for more insulation. They come in colors like mud brown, sage green, and stone gray. Or buy it to add to your metrosexual urban professional wardrobe. Look for the clearance sweaters and ignore the marked down price on the tag. Just take the ones you want to the checkout and have the hottie behind the desk tell you which ones are reduced. Mine had price tags of anywhere from $27 to $80. A size medium weighs 10.7 ounces before trimming the tags.
