First of all thanks to Form and Rokslide for these test. It’s the best testing for hunters I have seen.

I do understand that the ammo and time requirement can be a very big hurdle.

My thought was would it be feasible to use a laser bore sighter in a rifle to establish a 100 yard baseline and do the drop test and see if there is deviation and if so what it is?

I would think this could be done faster, perhaps inside, and would
provide the same info.

The real potential issue would be the repeatability of the bore sighter (something I have never used). Perhaps replicating several of the scopes that have passed would allow us to determine if this would work.

Anyways, just my thoughts, what do you all think?

Yes, and Form does far more than drop test. Running all over the country shooting these, hunting with them, riding in atvs, and subjecting them to 3500 rounds of recoil.
Mounting and remounting them.
