Got 2 videos but one will be up a little later.

This first shot is 890 yards. After watching shawns send it 3 I realized I needed to work on how we communicated (the spotter and I). So today we went out and practiced. The center of the rock was the target and I was using the crack/triangle to hold for wind. I hit just a couple of inches right. Spotter thought I was aiming for the triangle but I was just using it for my wind hold, so after watching the video I saw that I made the right decision to half my wind and was in fact just right of the center, not left.

The second video loaded faster than I though

This shot is 1015 yards cold bore. In the video I said I hadn't shot this distance before but what I meant was I hadn't shot this particular shot before"cold bore" I wasn't sure if everyone knew what that meant. Target is the light spot left of the center of the screen about a quarter of the way over.

Very cool pyro,

Ryan I was thinking the same thing, I'm shooting 168s at 2980.

Pyro is that book numbers or chrono'd?

The chrono's lie! Its verified numbers out to 1126 yards using the ballistic program. Its very hot for a 7 using 180 but Travis at RBROS designed his reamer specifically to achieve these velocities, so its a custom chamber a stock 7 mag chamber wont get this. His new 7mm rouge based off a 300 win mag is getting over 3100 with 180 bergers, I think 3150 even

Nice shooting, Travis makes a very solid rifle!

While their customer service and lead times leave a LOT to be desired, Rock Creek barrels are some amazing shooters. In some calibers we see anywhere from 40-80 fps increase with the same load by using their barrels so the speed you're getting doesn't surprise me in the least. That's a solid rifle you have there!

Ya, I'm shooting 168 gr at 2920. That's hauling for 180! Good shooting.

I'm shooting 168's at 2950 out of my 280 AI and thats only with 61.5 grains of powder out of a 24" tube. Any 7 mag should be 100-150 fps faster than that or at least capable of it if you reload.

Unfortunately not yet. I plan on putting in a lot of time sitting behind the rifle to change that this year. I even thought if coming over to Idaho for bear as waiting until aug for our bear season is killing me

Good to see you are out practicing with that rig!
Here is a pic of the new 7 Rogue with the EH-1 stock I designed for Manners. It comes in at 10lbs as shown with NF and 27" barrel.

The man himself! I've been taking that rig everywhere it doesn't look near as pretty anymore ;)Been practicing reasonably often with it as well, still struggling to find good spots to stretch it out. They just red dotted a bunch of roads from matlock all the way up to the 23. I gotta order another 500 ct of Bergers or two. I'm still loving the rifle. I passes on some bears last year with it but only because I was 9 miles from the trailhead.
