I trust local hospital directors and MD Directors when they talk about their patient population. That, to me, is going right to the source. Here in Boise, the largest employer in the state, St Luke’s hospital downtown, is transitioning their cardiac observation unit to a Covid unit and they just shut down elective surgeries. Healthcare workers are stressed and have been working their asses off. Pediatric (kids) units are full. Covid positive people of all ages are making that tough decision to go from at home personal care to hospitals. Many end up on ventilators and will never breath normal again, if they live at all. Maybe some of you all only work in professions with middle aged healthy men, but in real life, older and unhealthy folks still matter. This isn’t a joke. Too bad about RMEF - that sucks.
