On the chopping block. Too many projects. This has been a fantastic rifle I just don’t have the need for it enough as I don’t get big game tags often.
Action: Defiance Ruckus lightweight, nitride
Barrel: 25” Carbon Six sendero, with MK brake
Stock: Gunwerks Clymr, with their bottom metal and Wyatt’s box. I did skim bed with MarineTex as shown. Not pretty but it holds zero coming in and out.
Trigger: Triggertech special, 2stage, flat
Scope: NF Nx8 MOAR 4-32 F1 in NF rings
This gun has about 250 rounds through it. It is an absolute hammer. It is specifically throated for 215 Hybrids using the Rhian Mantha reamer. It was done by Carbon Six. I bought this for a moose hunt and haven’t had it on a hunt since.
This shoots the 215 right at 2995fps.
It shoots very well, minimal recoil for what it is, and the stock is just perfect for prone shooting.
Weight as it sits is 9lbs 13oz.
The scope I don’t need to sell, but I do have the box if you want it.
Preference to sell just the gun, but if someone takes the barreled action I would consider selling the stock. You can’t buy Clymrs as components anymore and I can’t imagine the cost to build this gun now.
