Got any rounds with this suppressor and shorter barrels? 10.5" ~ 12.5"
For dB numbers or use? The last picture is on a 10.5”.

I was first curious about how this can handled the pressures & durability, then if you're willing to share how quiet it was I'm all ears. Pun/dad joke intended. For dB numbers or use? The last picture is on a 10.5”.

I’d be really interested in that can that Form is talking about. Another that gets overlooked is an AB A-10 5.56. Great performance, and $450. Rated for full auto and short barrelAny suggestions on a heavy use dedicated AR can? Looking for something rugged that can withstand some fun stuff like a couple mag dumps, with a preference for as much suppression as I can get. I have a short (120yd) backyard range, and I'm not trying to annoy the few neighbors around.
I know the OG is rugged and could withstand the use but I'm worried it doesn't suppress enough? Mainly looking for a .223/5.56 can but if there's a .30cal can that fits the bill I could use it on my 300blk also. But I'm not willing to sacrifice suppression on .223 to use it on the 300blk.
@Formidilosus what are you guys naming this model?4.5” long-

Appreciate the recommendations. I looked through this list because I’ve been considering a dedicated AR-15/5.56 can. My expectations might be a bit unrealistic, but I tend to shy away from the idea of buying a $1400 can that weighs close to a pound once you consider the weight of the adapter (which most don’t come with). And especially to put it on an AR that is going to have 140ish DBA port pop, no matter what can you use.Short and hard use I would look at these for lower back pressure offerings:
CAT WB or KK
Stealth Additive Works Tisha
Front of Rifle Systems Recce
Dillon Hush Kit
OCL Infinity 5.56 when it drops
US that Form is posting in this thread looks promising
OCL OCM5 or 6 when it drops
Front of Rifle System Mk12 Mod FOR
For higher backpressure:
YHM Turbo K or T3
OCL Polo or Polo k
Tons of other options out there, especially if you want to jump up to a 30 cal can for 300 BO use.
Hux gets tons of shade for being loud but I have no complaints about my Hux .30cal (QDmodel) that I got on markdown when they put out the "new shiny" flow series a couple/3 years ago. by far my preferred can to shoot on AR10 just because of the back pressure. It's not the quietest by any means, but it's quiet enough, and it is the least gassy I have which to me is more valuable than quiet. enough that I recently ('26) picked up a flow6k for 5.56/6ARC use. Also looking at some of the newer cans coming out to see if any of the quieter ones can perform well enough on backpressure for regular use. There's lots of reasons to shoot suppressed and I want to protect my hearing but not at the expense of my lungs/toxic gas.Around here, SWAT gets issued Surefire and patrol gets issued HUXWRX.
SWAT members are shooting 20,000 rounds a year.
Personally I use HUXWRX for dedicated 5.56 ARs, semi and full auto. The difference they make in the amount of gas coming back is significant. Significant enough that my wife prefers them to more suppressive options that create more back pressure that ends up coming from the charging handle and up her nose.
